2016 BURTON RIDE
In late July eleven members of the Kelowna ATV Club and one member of the Cowichan Valley ATV Club did a three day ride in the mountains east of Burton, BC (Upper Arrow Lake). On the first day we rode up a mountain, stopped for a look at the old “Millie Mack” mine and then progressed further up into the alpine until we reached snow. The views were spectacular and at times we were up into the clouds. On the second day we did the “Three Sisters Loop” trail which was 118km long. We travelled on every type of road and trail along the way. On the third day we rode up high again to “Mountain Meadows” and were rewarded with great roads, trails and views. Evenings were a time to get together and relax in the Historical Park Campground in Burton. Thanks to the four members of the Arrow Lakes ATV Club for guiding us on the first two day’s rides.
